📘 FAQ of the Week: What does Family Engagement look like at THINK360 Academy?
At THINK360 Academy, we believe that family is at the heart of every child’s educational journey. When families and schools work together, students thrive, emotionally, socially, and academically. That’s why we are excited to offer several opportunities for family members to become active participants in the daily life of our school. Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours, your presence makes a difference!
Share a Meal and Make a Memory
You are always welcome to join your child for lunch, any day of the week! Sharing a meal is a simple yet powerful way to stay connected with your child’s school day. Come catch up on their latest classroom adventures, meet their friends, and enjoy a peek into their school community. Just check in at the front office, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Got a Talent? Lead an Activity!
Do you love painting, playing music, gardening, coding, or telling stories? If you have a creative hobby or skill, we’d love to invite you to lead a short activity during our 2–4pm enrichment time. Whether it's a one-time session or a recurring workshop, your talents can spark inspiration and joy in our students. No formal teaching experience is necessary, just your enthusiasm and willingness to share.
Be a Tutor, Be a Lifeline
Sometimes, a student just needs a little extra one-on-one attention to gain confidence in a particular subject. If you’re patient, encouraging, and have a little time to spare, consider volunteering as an academic tutor. We’ll pair you with a student who could use an extra boost, whether in reading, math, or another area, and help set you up for a meaningful experience.
Your Voice Matters
These are just a few ideas to get started, but we know our community is full of amazing people with diverse experiences, skills, and insights. If you have other ideas for how families can get involved, we want to hear from you! Whether it's organizing a cultural celebration, leading a parent book club, or helping with school events, your creativity and input are always welcome.
